The English Olympiad of Asia (EOA) is a continental academic competition for students aged 8 to 18, aimed at fostering global awareness, English language proficiency, and a sense of Asian identity and citizenship.
More than a competition, EOA serves as a platform for young individuals to articulate their ideas, exchange perspectives, and contribute to a collective vision for the future. It promotes intercultural communication, appreciation of diversity, and a commitment to creating positive impact within both local and regional contexts.
As stated by Mr. Sean Coley, Honorary President of EOA, the Olympiad empowers participants to “dream bigger, speak louder, and believe in their ability to make a difference” — not only within their communities, but across Asia and beyond.
